We work closely with local farmers to provide our customers with fresh, seasonal, local produce. Being a family owned store, we are invested in the local economy and helping local farmers and producers with their endeavors. When we do order our organic produce, we try and source the items from as close as possible. We also love to carry locally made foods and products (such as birch syrup, smoked salmon, and body care products), and are always looking to expand our Yukon made inventory.
Organic Agriculture is defined as a production system that sustains the health of soils, ecosystems and people. It relies on ecological processes, biodiversity and cycles adapted to local conditions, rather than the use of chemical fertilizers with adverse effects. We carry only certified organic produce and carry all available organic options. We support the values of organic agriculture and the benefits it provides to the environment, humans, and animals.
